Integration with APIs, REST HTTP, NETCONF, and other methods makes it possible to manage complex networks in a simple, centralized way while leveraging automation, making it easier to deploy new configurations and provision new infrastructures.
With their Fabric, Longwave’s SDN network infrastructures provide services such as macro-segmentation, micro-segmentation and IP mobility. SDN networks are scalable and high-performance, saving provisioning time and minimising misconfigurations.

Fabric
The fabric of an SDN network concerns the physical network infrastructure, namely the underlay that makes it possible to logically abstract an overlay network. It consists of switches, routers, wireless controllers, and access points, configured through the SDN controller.
Fabrics use innovative protocols to create flexible and scalable networks. On the same physical infrastructure, it is possible to build different logical networks, ensuring security and delivering business services.
Segmentation
In Longwave SDN networks, traditional VLAN-based segmentation is enhanced and surpassed thanks to innovative Fabric protocols and the implementation of VXLAN.
SDN makes it possible to segment the network in a way that makes communications more secure, while also ensuring greater scalability and flexibility compared with traditional networks.
Mobility
The Longwave SDN solution enables user mobility, allowing users to keep the same IP address regardless of where they connect, whether via wired network or Wi-Fi.
Security policies follow the user wherever they are, with centralized management through the SDN controller.
